Southeastern Directions for Life is currently accepting applications for a Chemical Dependency Therapist.

This Therapist will be a member of a multidisciplinary team and have the responsibility to provide counseling to assigned caseload; with a strong emphasis on Mental Health and Initial Integrated Assessments. While providing individual, group and family therapy, participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning by developing a comprehensive psychosocial assessment and crisis intervention consultation. Complete necessary documentation. Provide public or educational presentations as needed.

Hours for this position are Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm.

Salary per year based on education and experience; 10 paid holidays and excellent benefit packages.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in a helping profession with Addiction Counselor in Training (ACT) is required. Certified Addictions Counselor (CAC) or Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC) is preferred. Must have a current driver’s license, car insurance, and a driving record acceptable to Southeastern’s insurance provider. Must pass a comprehensive criminal background check to include fingerprinting, drug screening, Dept. of Health & Human Services check, and a TB test. All employees must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
